Samsung Galaxy S4 scores 26,818 in Antutu when it was benchmarked by us. The score is quite near to the HTC One but is more than double of Samsung Galaxy S3 and HTC One X or One X+.

Samsung Galaxy S4 scores 12,971 in Quadrant Advanced which again is quite awesome. The score is almost triple to as that of HTC One X. The beast is doing well in the benchmark scores which is great. Samsung has bundled great hardware in this phone.

Samsung Galaxy S4 had 60.0 FPS in the Nenamark 2 score which is also awesome. Samsung Galaxy S4 can go above 60 FPS and I know that but Nenamark 2 only records upto 60 FPS as maximum so we should not be sad about it.

Windows just bought Windows Store with the launch of Windows RT and Windows 8. Apple was the first to bring an app store in the world so has highest number of apps. Android also came early and has a lot number of apps. Most apps in iOS are optimized for tablets while if you go for android, it looks like phone apps zoomed up and shown. Windows RT doesn’t support any unofficial apps and also because Windows Store is just launched, it has less apps. Windows 8 has the highest number of unofficial apps which were made for Windows 7 and previous versions of Windows and also has access to Windows Store which has less apps at the present time.

Result :- iOS > Android > Windows

User Interface :-

Microsoft just launched it’s new versions of Windows with the whole new Metro user interface. The interface is really powerful and is really well designed. It works best on a tablets. Android and iOS have it’s icon style interface. iOS looks super simple while Android looks great with support to widgets. Microsoft has replaced the system of widgets with live tiles in Windows 8 and RT.

Result :- Windows > Android > iOS

Gaming :-

Windows is just launched and doesn’t have much games. All the games which are currently on the Windows Store are not great. The unofficial games are for for traditional desktop PCs and do not work properly on tablets because of no touchscreen support.. Apple has great apps for its iPad on the App Store. Even Android is near to apple with the gaming sector. Number of games in Android are more but number of quality games in iOS are more. Windows will take time to cope because of the late launch of the new ecosystem

Result :- iOS > Android > Windows

Availability :-

Android is the most widely available Tablet OS. The two main official Android tablets are the Nexus 7 and the Nexus 10. There are thousands of tablets which are running Android. Apple is a closed source company and only sells self made products which are the iPads. Windows started with Surface Tabs and hundreds of others are also set to steal the market.

Result :- Android > Windows > iOS

Price :-

Android tablets are sold in all ranges and are best is the price sector. iPads are focused on high money spending sector of the market and thus tablets are costly. Windows is sold from mid ranged to very very high range tablets with a lot more price than that of Apple iPad.

Conclusion :-

iPad was most preferred tablet but Android and Windows are stealing market share from apple. Wide availability of Android in all price ranges is making it to reach even low sector of the society. Microsoft with it’s all new designed Metro UI will get great love and works great on Tablets. iOS has the most number of quality apps as the apps are checked properly before getting published to the play store. I am hungry of apps so I will choose Android but I like the Metro UI very much so Windows will remain on the second number. I care about price very much and so iPad falls at the last.

Windows 8 brings fixed amount of colors and designs for Windows 8 Start Screen. You can’t set custom wallpaper image for the start screen.

Today I have come up here with an app which adds an custom Images directly to your start screen. The name of app is Decor8 and starts just from pricing of $4.99 and is also available for a 30 day free trial from here.

Chpwn introduced Spire which helped us to install Siri on all devices with iOS 5. Today I have come up with a guide to install Siri on jailbroken iOS 6 devices specifically iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPod 4G. The trick has not been tested on iPad 2 so you should not try it.

We will take help of the i4Siri proxy which will help us to get Siri working. You should have already jailbroken your iDevice.

Steps to install Siri :-

3. After reboot, Install i4Siri Non-Spire.
4. Go to i4Siri settings and then install the certificate.

For this, you need an Android Phone and a Windows PC connected to same internet connection like Wifi.

You have to first download the “Touchpad” App from Play Store and install it in your android phone. Then you have to install the Touchpad Server. You have to unblock this software from the Windows Firewall.

@Derefas who is a member at XDA decided to port the ROM of Desire C to the low end version explorer.

He achieved success and we finally have a working Sense 4 ROM based on ICS. At the present time, the ROM has a bit of bugs like USB, Bluetooth and Wifi which the developer will fix soon.

All the other parts of the ROM are fully working. I tested it on my HTC Explorer and I feel it to be great.

A Short History

Angry Birds was first released in December of 2009 for Apple’s iOS App Store. It started out as a simple one-episode game with only three chapters. The story is as simple as the gameplay mechanics. You play as a pack of multi-colored, oddly-shaped birds that have no wings. A tribe of evil green pigs has stolen your eggs and you need to get them back.

Graphics

Like everything else, the graphics are simple and cute. There are lots of funny little details to make you chuckle and the ability to zoom in and out from the field is a nice touch for getting a real bird’s eye view.

Steps to overclock :-

1.  Download the Merruk 2.5 kernel and Kernel updater script
2. Put both the files in Micro-SD Card
3. Switch off your phone
4. Boot into recovery by pressing Volume up, Home Button and Power Button together and leaving all these three buttons when you see Samsung Logo
5. Navigate via Volume buttons and select “Install zip from SD Card” by pressing Home Button.
6. Locate the kernel_update.zip and flash it
7. Now Reboot your phone.
8. Install No-Frills CPU from Google Play store and overclock your phone via this by changing the max speed of your processor.

We installed Synpatics first because it will install its software and driver but driver will not work so install Elan pad after it which will overwrite the driver and you will have both the things needed.

I have installed Windows 8 RTM Enterprise and activated it in the lucky one hour activating time and I feel that this is great. Caution :- This trick is tested and working on many models but if you did any step wrong then Fresh News Area is not responsible for bricking you Smart Phone.

Step 1 – Bootloader Unlock

1. Go to htcdev.com then create an account there and click on Unlock Bootloader. Choose  “All Other Supported Models” and click on begin bootloader unlock at the place. You will not void your all warranty but only HTC will not cover the problems which are caused due to software problems so accept the agreement.
2. To enter bootloader mode, make sure the phone is switched off. Remove the battery if it is not getting switched off.  Then hold Volume Down and start pressing the Power button without any USB cable. Use the volume up and volume down buttons to select “Fastboot” and select it using the Power button. Now connect your USB cable and continue following the HTC instructions.
3. You need the zip file which you must have downloaded from the above link. You also need HTC USB Drivers installed to connect it with you device.  Using the command prompt you can simply navigate to the extracted files and run the fastboot command. (Use the command “cd C:/myextractedzip” to change to a directory).
4. Save the Unlock_Code.bin attachment which you get from HTC by Email into the same extracted zip folder and run the next command. You now have an unlocked bootloader and the phone will start up and an HTC wizard.

Congratulations ! Your bootloader is now unlocked.

Step 2 – Flash ClockWorkMod Recovery

1. Remove the USB Cable if connected and boot again into bootloader mode. Click fastboot and reconnect it to your PC. Now run the following command on your PC via fastboot :- fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
2. Switch off your phone now again and make sure that the USB Cable is also removed from your computer.

Congratulations! Your recovery is now installed.

Step 3 – Rooting the Phone

1.  Now copy the “app” folder from the zip onto a micro-sd card. Also copy the “CWM-SuperSU-v0.92.zip” and “rootexplorer_2.16.apk” onto the micro-sd card.
2. Boot into bootloader and select recovery this time in that. Now go to Install Zip from SDCard and choose CWM-SuperSU-v0.92.zip
3. Now select “Yes – Install CWM-SuperSu” and reboot the phone manually once it is installed.

Congratulations! You phone is now rooted.

Step 4 – Installing Google Apps

Caution :- You only need to install Google Apps if you do not have them like Play Store. If you do not have Apps like Play Store then you don’t need to perform this step and you can move to next step.

1. Using the included file manager on the phone, click on “rootexplorer.apk” and install it. When launching root explorer, make sure you grant it superuser permissions.
2.  Go click the “sdcard” folder and press and hold the “app” folder that you copied from the zip file. Click “copy” and then navigate to /system . Press “Mount R/W”. And then click “Paste”. Choose Yes to overwrite. Exit root explorer.
3. Now we need to fix the permissions. The easiest way is if you enable USB Debugging mode from the “Developer Options” settings. Make sure you connect your USB cable.
4. Open a command prompt to our extracted zip folder and type “adb shell”. Press enter and you should see “shell@android:/ $”. Run “su”. Run “cd /system/app”.
5. Now to fix all permissions, run “chmod 644 *.apk” and then run “chown root.root *.apk” .
6. Now run “reboot” to reboot your phone.

Congratulations! Google Apps are now installed.

Step 5 – Bloatware Removal

1. Removal of bloatware is easiest. Go to /system/app via root explorer and delete any app which is not needed. Here is a list of bloatware apks which need to be removed :-

When I compared the Build Number and Windows Vista, 7 and 8, we found a pattern which also hints about which build number would be used for the next Windows Operating System after Windows 8

Here is how the pattern follows :-

375 X 16 = 6000 (Windows Vista Build)
475 X 16 = 7600 (Windows 7 Build)
575 X 16 = 9200 (Windows 8 Build)
This means that the final build of the next windows will be
675 X 16 = 10800 (Maybe Windows 9)

So means that there is a difference of 100 between these numbers. We just got the information that the Final Windows 8 build leaked is 9200 means that Microsoft is really following this pattern.

It also has stock icons from Ice Cream Sandwich devices. In no way anyone can tell that this is not ICS if he has not seen that this is just a launcher. Many developers even remove stock Launcher and add this launcher to lower the total size of their Custom ROM. You can make up to 9 Home screen pages which is enough for everyone. I have been trying to use  this Launcher since it was in beta. It was great since then and it has been improving continuously since then. This is smooth too. I love this launcher and I would ask anyone to try this. Many of them will love this launcher and will continue to use this on wards.  It comes with very nice transition effects and it has also a support for overlapping widgets.

If you add the iPhone Lock screen then it gives you better than the iPhone feeling and you may enjoy using this launcher. Their are many other launchers of iOS but there is no launcher which can beat this launcher. You can also create folders the same way you make it in iOS Devices and the animation is also the same. This is not just any other waste plugin but this is a must see Google Chrome plugin. It adds a metro Style new tab page toy Google Chrome. As you can see above it is a lot customizable and looks like Windows 8 Start menu

As you can see in the above image. You can edit each box and set it to your needs. All the setting shown are great and are great to customize. This is a very handy plugin.

In these, you can add the link where the box links, you can show hide the name of the box. You can choose color picker and choose your background picker and you can also set a blank background. You can also save image in your computer and browse it. You can also set the link with http:// is but there is a problem that it will download the image again and again when you restart the computer.

I have used it and I have found no bug yet. It is a lovely plugin.

Once you Unlock the desktop with clicking on the lock icon, you can open the apps menu and drag any app of your choice to the Awesome New Tab Page. It is very easy to use.

You could eve reset this to defaults and it will become as it came to you when you installed this plugin ad will remove all your settings. You can also set a background color of your choice or you can even use your own image. I set it black in the last image and you can see that here it is blue. You can even put the link to the image and it will automatically download the image and display on your blog.

A recognized contributor of xda-developers @krarvind has just released Alpha Versions of his rom Slim ROM. Slim ROMs are known for being the lightest ROMs.

Google Now was ported to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Devices forom the XDA-Developer forums. This was a very good news for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Devices. At this port Android 4.0 Ice Cream Devices missed a feature. They could not use the voice type i.e. text to speech by Google. Through a simple trick we can use it on these devices.

For this trick to work you need :-

1. Download GO Keyboard from Google Play Store or Android Market

After seeing these tablets Google said 6 months ago that it will build its own tablet in around 6 months. Today is a day which matches the exact 6 months time that Google set.

HTC built the first Nexus branded phone which was the Nexus One and the Samsung built two Nexus branded phone Samsung Galaxy Nexus S and Samsung Galaxy Nexus but never thought of making of  Tablet. Now Google seeing the innovative tablet made by Asus, Google has made its way with Asus to make its own Nexus Branded tablet by Asus.

Long ago rumors were also spreading that Asus will be the first company to taste the Jelly Bean Android OS which was thought of version 5.0 but it has been confirmed that Android Jelly Bean will be version 4.1. Report tell that this update will not bring major changes but will be same as it was from Android 2.1 Eclair to Android 2.2 Froyo.

Android has been evolving from a long time. The first version was just named Android. The second version was Android 1.5 Cup Cake. Then came the Android 2.0 named Donut and Android 2.1 named Eclair. Then Androbot got a taste of Froyo with the version number 2.2. Then came a bit advance Android Gingerbread 2.3.

2. Flip text for your Facebook Status

Do you know that you could flip text while posting to Facebook status. For Example ”this is a test” will become “ʇsǝʇ ɐ sı sıɥʇ”. This doesn’t look much better better here but it displays properly when you post your status to Facebook. You can go to Fliptext.org to do this.

3. Redirect People to their profile with a link [Cool Prank]

This is a very Cool Prank. You can post a status like “A person is found for doing a lot of illegal work. you can visit his profile here :- www.facebook.com/profile.php?=987236471. Please report me if you find him” The person who will open the link will se his profile page opening and then he may get afraid and he will get trolled. You can add anything after this link www.facebook.com/profile.php? which would look something like www.facebook.com/profile.php?AReallyMadMan and the person will see his profile. This is one of my favorite trick and I use to prank my friends.

4. Post empty status

Do you know that you can post really empty status. Just posts “@[2:2: ]“ in your status without quotes. You would get empty status. This is a great trick for me.

5. Post your status in every group that you have joined

This is a cool tricks. whatever I want to post, I can post just with one click. You just have to Login with you Facebook Account. You can even deselect the groups in which you don’t want to post. You use this application – Multiple Post

6. Post Symbols in your Facebook Status

You can post various Symbols in your Facebook Status or even comments. You can copy some symbols from below and post it in your status or your comments. You can find some great symbols here Fsymbols.com

7. Post Great Designs in your Facebook Status

You can even post designs in you facebook status. These designs  are loved by me a lot. I often Use uni codes to post some designs.

8. A “Dislike” or a “Laugh at” Button for your post

You must have seen people using the Like Button but have you ever seen people using a “Dislike” button or “Laugh at” Button. This plugin really does this work for you. You can add any custom of your choice. To do this you can use Magic Updates.

9. Access Gmail from Facebook

If Facebook is your greater priority than checking emails on Gmail, you might want to give a shot to Fmail. It is a Facebook application that integrates Gmail inbox within Facebook.

10. Pre-schedule your status for future

Sendible is a great tool to let you schedule your status messages to be updated at a specified time in the future. This will automatically post the status on the time that you will set.

OS:Revive is a really great theme. It allows you to do most of the customizations than other themes. This gives you an exact look like Windows Phone 7. OS7:Revive is freely available on the modmyi repo and can be straightly downloaded from the search tab. One thing you should remember while installing is that you remove the OS7 Dreamboard theme from your iPhone. This theme works properly on iPhone 3GS, 4 and 4S. Don’t thing that this theme will be slow on 3GS because it works properly on my iPhone 3GS and has no bugs.

Very Important :-

[box]For those who are wondering if you can update your 3G or 3GS to 06.15 solely for the purposes of downgrading to 05.13.04, the answer is “yes” for 3G owners, and “maybe” for 3GS owners.  The iPad baseband is not compatible with 3GS units manufactured week 34 of 2011 or later.  If you have an iPhone 3GS and if digits 3-5 of its Serial Number are 134 or later (xx134…), then you should NOT try to install the 06.15 baseband on your 3GS!  It will brick your radio, preventing both the downgrade from working and normal iPhone software from using it as a phone!  Be warned! [/box]

Those people who wanted to unlock their phone but were afraid of upgrading to iPad’s Baseband due to GPS errors can first upgrade to iPad Baseband and then downgrade it to 05.13.04 for working GPS + Unlock. If you will install a stock firmware then no one can ever tell you that your iPhone was previously jailbroken and it may go to warranty.

Requirements :-

• iPhone 3GS or iPhone 3G with iPad’s Baseband installed
• Downloaded Redsn0w 0.9.14b1 for Windows here and for Mac OS X here
• Installed iTunes drivers

How to Downgrade iPad Baseband :-

1. Turn off your iPhone 3G/3GS (With iPad’s Baseband installed) and connect it to your Computer and open Redsn0w 0.9.14b1
2. Go to “Extras>Select IPSW” and select the IPSW firmware which you have installed.
3. Then go back and click on Jailbreak.
4. Mark a tick on “Downgrade iPad Baseband” and if you your have already Jailbroken your iPhone then remember to remove a tick from “Install Cydia”
5. Put your iPhone in DFU mode and the instructions will be shown on redsn0w to put your iPhone in DFU mode.
6. It will download the required files and it will take a long time so be patient. Don’t interrupt the process until your iPhone is showing the “Slide to Unlock” Screen

[box type="note"]Note :- Your iPhone may show “No Sevice” after this downgrade if you have already installed ultrasn0w. To fix this you can reinstall “Mobile Substrate” and “Ultrasn0w”. Your iPhone will be fully unlocked and GPS must also be working. [/box]

After using a bit of brain we found,

One bad news is that iPad 1 will not be supported for iOS 6. With iPad 1, iPod 3G will also not be supported. iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4,iPhone 4S, iPod 4G, iPad 2 and iPad 3 are the devices which will get iOS 6.

I am  a bit happy that my iPhone 3GS will not get outdated but a bit sad also because iPad 1 has good specifications and can handle iOS 6. iPod 3G also has almost same specs as of iPhone 3GS and Apple should not have left support for iPhone 3GS.

The browser making is helped by “Maxthon” which is a popular browser for Android. You can not make a full browser but you can just do the changes I have listed above.  Watch out the picture by Maxthon.

How to Create Your Own Android Browser :-

1. Go to the browser making page here and click on “Make It Now”
2. Fill in the browser name. Remember to use less than 14 characters including spaces.
3. Upload the icon for your browser. This will be the icon that would look at the home screen of you Android phone. You need an icons whose size is 72×72 pixels. You can find some icons here if you don’t want to waste time making your icons
4. Seat a homepage now. It can be your blog or your website. You can even set Google or Facebook or even Fresh News Area. Remember to add  ”http://” without quotesin the start of the link. For Example :- http://www.freshnewsarea.com rather than just www.freshnewsarea.com
5. Select a theme of your choice. Choose the one you like the most.
6. Upload the Splash Screen or the wallpaper which shows up while the browser is loading. The Size of the Photo Should be 480×800 pixels. You can find some images in this thread. Don’t waste your time reading the thread.
7. Enter your email address and it will send you the browser
8. Download the .apk file from your email sent from Maxthon and put it in your SD Card.
9. Install this from and APK Installer available on the Google Play Store and you have your browser now.

You can now tease your friends by showing that you made your own browser.

You could see in both samples that the embedded tweet looks same as the screenshot but the difference in both is that in embedded tweets you are able to “Reply”, “Retweet”, “Follow” or even “Favorite” that tweet which is a bit easier and you can also click on the link on who has tweeted this

How to Embed Twitter Tweet :-

HTC One S is a lot more slimmer than the HTC One X. Even HTC One S being a mid range phone it scores higher Benchmarks. The main disadvantage I like in these two phones is that they both do not support Micro SD Card which is supported in most Android phones. If you are getting an Android phone over iPhone or Windows Phone 7 then you maybe considering that the phone should be having a Micro SD Card. This is the main disadvantage of the both phones.

Even the resolution of HTC One X is higher it does not give higher Frames Per Second than HTC One S. Means you can enjoy watching HD movies and playing HD games.

I think that HTC One X is one of the small tablets and not a big phone as the biggest phone which is considered is 4.3″ inch which is our HTC One S. It is Compact and is easy to carry.

One thing is Price and of course HTC One S wins in that case.

This is a Killer Phone. It Packs a 1 GHz Single Core Qualcom Snapdragon S1Processor with 512 MB Ram. It has Cool Looks as Well as a Capacitive Screen which will Give You Touch Experience Just Like The iPhone. The Screen Size is 3.8″ inch with a Resolution of 480X800 pixels. It has Android 2.3 (2.3.6 To Be Exact Currently) Gingerbread Installed in It and Karbonn has Promised that They Will Soon Update This Phone to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. For Connectivity it has Bluetooth, Wifi, 3G and GPRS. It is a Dual Sim Phone too which helps in getting Two Sim Card at a Time. It has a Powerful 5 MP Camera which Gives Decent Shots, a Front Facing VGA Camera and Also has Dual LED Flash. This Phone Can Be Great Phone for You If You Are Looking for Cheap High End Phones. Its Price is Rs. 9199 (As On 7 June 2012).

2. Spice Steller

Spice Stellar runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and is upgradable to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. This is also a Great Smart Phone. It is a Bit Larger Than Karbonn A9 as it Has a 4″ inch Screen But the Resolution is same as 480×800 pixels. It is Also Powered By a Snapdragon S1 Single Core S1 Processor. It has a 5 MP Camera as well as a Front Facing VGA Camera same as for Karbonn A9. This is The First Phone of Spice in The Steller Series. For Connectivity it has Bluetooth, Wifi, 3G and GPRS and is Also Dual Sim. This phone is Never The Less than Karbonn A9

I like Both the Phones in The Budget Segment. Just the Main Difference is Screen Size. If You like 4″ inch then You can go for Spice and If You Like 3.8″ inch then you Can Go For Karbonn A9. If You Keep These Phones aside each other then We Will Find That Both The Phones have Almost Same Look and Size. So Choose Your Phone Accordingly.

Things You Need To Unlock Your HTC One S

• Your Network Locked HTC One S
• A Sim Card With Which it is Not Locked To
• Some Mathematical Skills With Common Sense

You Just Have To Follow 4  Steps For This Unlock.

Steps For Unlocking HTC One S :-

Step 1

Open Terminal Emulator App Which You Have Downloaded From Google Play Store. Type The Following Lines
su [Press Enter]
strings -n 8 /dev/block/mmcblk0p6 [Press Enter Again]

This Will Output Several Lines In The Emulator. One Of The Line Will Be UN_Lock_code=……….. For Example - UN_Lock_code=063312345

Make A Note Of This Number on A Paper and Remember That this is Not Your Unlock Code . You Need This For Further Unlocking Process.

Step 2

Find You IMEI Number By Typing *#06# On The Phone App. Make A Note Of This Number Also.

Write Down Last Seven Digits Of Your 15 Digit IMEI Number For Example Last 7 Digits of My IMEI Number Are 1234567.

Now, Take The First Four Digits At The End. My Number Would Be 5671234

Now Add A Digit X Between First Three Digits and Last Four Digits, My Number Would Be 567X1234. We Have To Get The Value Of X. For This We Have To Get The Sum Of First Three Digits Which is 5+6+7 = 18 and We Only Need The Last Digit Of The Number which is 8. For Example If Sum Is 3 then X = 3, If Sum is 12 then X = 2, If Sum if 25 then X = 5.

My Number With The Following Steps Would Be 56781234 Now

Step 3

You Need To Perform A Simple Sum Now
Subtract The Key Obtained From Second Step From The UN_Lock_code Obtained In First Step.

For Example My UN_Lock_code is 063312345 and My Key Obtained In Second Step is 5678123 So Sum is
063312345 - 56781234 = 6531111.

The Unlock Code is Always 8 Digit So If Your Answer is 7 Digit Like The Above, Add a Zero In The Start.  So The Unlock Code Obtained Will Be 06531111 For Me. Your Will Be Different.

Step 4

You Have To Unlock Your Phone With The Code Now
Remove The Sim Card It Is Locked To and Pop In The Sim Card Which Doesn’t Work.
You Don’t Need To Reboot The Phone and You Will Be Prompted  to Enter The Unlock Code. Now Enter The Unlock Code Obtained in Step 3.

Now Your Phone Is Unlocked and You Can Enjoy.
