A Member of XDA-Developer @chamatht has made a tool which will Help you to Backup your Samsung Galaxy Y’s Kernel. We Need to backup Kernel So that whenever a problem comes we can repair the problem just Be Restoring The Kernel. This is a very Easy way to backup your Kernel and it is very easy to Use the Tool As well

How To Backup Kernel

  1. Place on root of your SD card.
  2. Then Boot into ClockWorkMod. If you don’t know how then just go Download ClockWorkMod and install this through Stock Recovery by using Install zip from SD Card
  3. Then Select install zip from SD Card
  4. Then select
  5. When Backup will be Complete Kernel will be on the root of your SD card with the name Kernel Boot.img

How to Restore a Kernel

  1. Download Kernel
  2. Rename Kernel_Boot.img into Boot.img
  3. Turn off phone and boot into ClockWorkMod
  4. Once you are inside the ClockWorkMod recovery, simply choose install from zip and select (Note : Kernel looks for a boot.img file in SD card and flashes it)
  5. After successful kernel up press power to return to ClockWorkMod
  6. Press Reboot now, and your kernel is updated
