iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 Will Get iOS 6 But iPad 1 Will Not
Today I am a bit happy that Apple has not taken out support of iPhone 3GS for iOS 6. This was confirmed from the leaked iOS 6 Beta firmware. iPhone 2G (Original) only had support till iOS 3.1.3, iPhone 3G only had support till iOS 4.2.1 but thank got that iPhone 3GS hasn’t lost support in iOS 5 and ih heading towards iOS 6.
One bad news is that iPad 1 will not be supported for iOS 6. With iPad 1, iPod 3G will also not be supported. iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4,iPhone 4S, iPod 4G, iPad 2 and iPad 3 are the devices which will get iOS 6.
I am a bit happy that my iPhone 3GS will not get outdated but a bit sad also because iPad 1 has good specifications and can handle iOS 6. iPod 3G also has almost same specs as of iPhone 3GS and Apple should not have left support for iPhone 3GS.
